Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our website to get to know a little about us.

Midland Baptist Church is a very warm and welcoming community of faith serving Midland and the surrounding areas since 1972.   We are not perfect, but we are seeking to honor God in all that we do.

When you walk through the door of Midland Baptist, we want you to feel at home. Our music is mostly traditional, but we appreciate different styles of music that exalt Jesus. Typically, Pastor Keith preaches in an expository style.

As you continue to browse through the pages of our website, you’ll get a glimpse of who we are but the best way to really get to know us is to join us for worship, bible study and our other events.  Come on in and join us, we’ll have a seat saved for you.

More of What We Believe

God's Salvation is available to all!

1.  A person needs to know they are lost before they can be saved.  Romans 3:23 states: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

2.  Once we know we are lost we need to know the penalty of sin.  Romans 6:23 states: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

3.  How do we receive that gift?  Repentance.  Acts 2:19 states: "Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins might be blotted out."  In other words, turn from self to God, ask for forgiveness.  Like a group of soldiers marching and are given a command to about face.

4.  If you are willing to repent, you need to confess your sins.   Romans 10:9-10 states: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

5.  You can be saved!  Romans 10:13 guarantees it; "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

6.  Are you ready to pray and accept the Lord into your heart?  If so pray:

Lord, I know that I am a sinner and don't deserve your gift of eternal life.  But I believe you died and rose again that I might receive eternal life.  So Lord, I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my life and save me.  I am trusting you alone for my salvation and I am willing to accept your gift of eternal life. Amen!

If you prayed that prayer, please give us a call that we might share in your blessing.

Now you can know you are saved!  "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that you have eternal life..." 1 John 5:13

May God bless you and use you!
